Snow does not sound

I was alone in there-
In the dark for long.

Voices of anger, hunger
I could hear for long.
No-one yearned to touch me
No-one heard me for long.
I tried to say, to tell...
I tried to move for long.
And then she heard me
I could feel the resentment for long.

Long back I felt cold....
Long back I died.
Long back I floated down.......

I know now, snow falls,
But does not sound.

no matter how long the tunnel, light will always be waiting at the end

after darkness here comes light.....

Ya, I know....everybody in right mind would take light.

And from the comments I recieved, I am taking my fav one....

it was posted by Mathew.....

A poem by Scott.

Standing in the shadows
She is hiding in the night
Frightened of the strangers that she's
Known throughout her life
He keeps inside his closet where he knows
That he's all right
They're all the ones we've known by sight
Waiting for the light

Peering through the window
At the things they never had
And hoping for the Big Break when they
Know they've just been had
Crying for the one love that their friends
All seem to have
They're all the ones we've known by sight
Waiting for the light

Handing out their leaflets with their eyes
Wide filled with fright
They'd sell themselves to all who'd pay
To know they're in the right
Is the pain of all their loneliness
Just theirs by birth or right
They're all the ones we've known by sight
Waiting for the light
Peering through her window she's
Crippled in her sight
He stands beneath her window with
His wine, he hates to fight
They both say "God, please let me die"
And pass into the night
They're all the ones we've known by sight
Waiting for the light

How many would

How many would take
The darkness in the cave.....
To the light at the end of the tunnel.....

How many would still take
The light after knowing
The nourishment and security
Of the ever giving darkness.....
